Preparing hearts to fully receive Christ through the Holy Eucharist.
The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. In this most blessed sacrament, Christ is truly present — body, blood, soul, and divinity. Preparing a child for their First Communion is one of the greatest privileges of parish life.
Preparation for First Eucharist is completed through the parish and is closely connected with our faith formation program. Children must be enrolled in Catechism or attend a Catholic school and meet the minimum Grade 2 requirement.
Children must be in at least Grade 2 (approximately 7–8 years old) and demonstrate an understanding of the Eucharist.
Parents are required to attend preparation sessions alongside their children. Your involvement is essential to this journey.
