Sacred signs instituted by Christ to strengthen our faith and guide us through every stage of life.
Baptism is the first and most fundamental sacrament — the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to all other sacraments. Through Baptism, we are cleansed of original sin, reborn as children of God, and welcomed into the Church.
St. Charles Garnier Parish joyfully celebrates the Baptism of infants, children, and adults. We welcome you and your family into this sacred journey.
Parents must be registered parishioners or have approval from their home parish. At least one parent must be Catholic.
At least one godparent must be a confirmed, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
Parents are required to attend a pre-baptism preparation session before the sacrament is celebrated.
Adults seeking Baptism are welcomed through our RCIA program, which meets throughout the year.
Please contact the parish office by phone or email to begin the registration process. We will guide you through the required steps and schedule your preparation session.
You will need the child’s civil birth certificate and the baptismal certificates of both parents (if Catholic). Additional documentation may be requested.
